Blue Sky provides weekly individual therapeutic horseback riding lessons, in a structured learning environment, to special needs citizens. Also, we hold community group activities for special needs children and adults. On these days our riders create artwork, learn gardening skills, woodworking and other various entrepreneurial activities. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
We are excited to be moving forward to expand Fun Friday into the other four days of the week! Let the count down begin! Tomorrow we have our inspections and then 60 days from inspection we can get approval from the State to begin a full program opening up to the needs of our community. We roll things forward everyday and generous donations over the last week have really made all the difference in our ability to go forward this summer! Thank you to Toyota for being our first event sponsor this year for Horses & Hope to be held October 15, 2016 and to the community member and two Blue Sky board members who donated over 7,500 this week to keep us moving forward.
